Committee approves $22.5 million for NMC!

June 6, 2012, Calgary - Today the City of Calgary's Standing Policy Committee on Community and Protective Services agreed to the release of the remaining $22.5 million of the City's $25 million commitment to the National Music Centre made in 2010.
The release of these funds (pending ratification by Council later this month) will allow us to break ground on Phase 1 of 2 this year and maintain our schedule for a 2015 opening.
The Centre's capital campaign is ongoing and we've raised $92 million of the total $132.5 million goal.
