The National Music Centre is a place where everyone has the opportunity to make music. Our all ages jams are excellent examples of how seasoned veterans and fresh-faced novices can come together to learn from and teach one another...it's fun for the audience too!
All Ages Jazz Jam
In partnership with the Calgary Association for the Development of Music Education (CADME), the National Music Centre offers this jazz jam hosted by high school jazz combos, with a focus on improving improvisational skills. The jam is open to jazz players of all ages and levels of ability.
