SUMMIT JAZZ SERIES PRESENTS:

OCTAGONE is an group co-directed by Jon McCaslin and Carsten Rubeling, and features some of Calgary's finest musicians.

OCTAGONE's repertoire is diverse, from swinging Bebop to lush ballads, as well as originals written by members of the band. The five horns up front create a deep palette of sounds and colours, and the great rhythm section provides a swinging foundation for the music to launch from.

It isn't often that a large ensemble like this gets to perform in Calgary, so if you're around, come check down to the National Music Centre!
